Designer's Description:

(All of my hat designs are handmade and very well made!  I'm a stickler for workmanship, and I sign every hat I make as part of my trademark.  Enjoy!)

African Print Hats & Head Wraps:  "...are for women who would like to wear African print headwear but are unable to tie a head wrap."  

Bridal:  "A full range of hats and headdress designs can be made for the bride and her wedding party.  Our speciality:  Afrocentric Bridal Veils.  Consultation service is available to help in creating the perfect wedding veil, hat or individually tailored headdress to suit the client, the outfit and the ceremony.  Email Tasha with your inquiries.

Closeouts:  "A limited collection of hats reduced 30%-50%.  All  sales are final."

Fascinators:  "My Afrocentric Fascinators are more African-inspired with a African-American flair!  From a historical standpoint, Africans have adorned their heads with fascinator-type headdress for centuries.  

Men's Hats: "The brothers have made their demands for hats designed by Tasha, so we are delighted to offer a collection of men's (kufis) hats that are designed with a collage of fabrics that is the Designs by Tasha trademark.  This collection is still a work-in-progress that I look forward to perfecting."

Mud Cloth and Burlap: "This is a unique collection of mud cloth from Cameroon, West Central Africa.   I combine this fabric with mink and cowrie shells; some with leather and suede to a simple yet versitile mud cloth hat that you can accessorize.  I've designed Burlap Hats that are  combined with mud cloth, leather, and suede.  These hats are great with jeans and your weekend casual wear."  

Summer Hats:"The Abaca Collection is my trademark design for summer hats.   The Abaca is a light and airy organic fiber that is family to the banana plant.  This particular fiber grow only in the Phillipines.  Once shredded, it's dyed and weaved into the colorful sheets of fiber that I tie-dye make into my unique hat designs.  Custom-made hats are available per your request.  Email Tasha with your ideas."

Winter Hats: "I may be an 'island gurl,' but I love winter in the U.S. because I get to design unique winter hats that are stylish, creatively designed and warm!  This collection goes great with your favorite winter coat or jacket or that fine knit outfit you've been waiting to accessorize...all original Designs by Tasha!"
